Water Meter Upgrade Project Moves into Ward 8
The City of Regina’s Water Meter Upgrade project continues to make progress. With over 44,000 meters installed to date, the project is now more than 57 per cent complete.
Neptune Technology Group, the City’s contractor, is now starting installations in Ward 8. Water customers can expect to receive an information sheet about how to book appointments over the next few months. Upon arrival, the Neptune technician will discuss the work plan with the customer to achieve a successful install during a typical 30-to-90-minute appointment.
Soon, a new customer service system will be available to all customers. This system will allow customers to access account information, view and understand their household water usage. It also offers an opportunity for customers to sign up for electronic notifications about planned water outages and consumption alerts for high water use, empowering them to save water and money.
