Water Meter Upgrade Project Continues to Make Progress
The City of Regina’s three-year water meter upgrade project is nearing completion. With over 50,500 meters installed to date, the project is now more than 65 per cent complete.
The City’s contractor, Neptune Technology Group, is starting installations in Ward 9. Over the next few months, water customers can expect to receive an information sheet about how to book appointments. Upon arrival, the Neptune technician will discuss the work plan with the customer to achieve a successful install during a typical 30-to-90-minute appointment.
A new online customer service system is now available to all customers. This system, called eWater, allows customers to access account information, view and understand their household water use. Customers can also sign-up for alerts and notifications about planned water outages and high water use, empowering them to save water and money.
