The City Advances on the Water Network Expansion Project
The City of Regina is making progress on the installation of the water main as part of the Water Network Expansion Project. To support this construction, the Ring Road eastbound on-ramp at McDonald Street will be closed starting today for approximately 10 business days pending weather.
The Water Network Expansion Project is a major project that enables the City to continue meeting the water pressure and storage needs of both current residents while also providing a long-term solution to support growth. This project will include planting additional trees and upgrading the lights along portions of Ring Road. The Water Network Expansion webpage at Regina.ca/waterexpansion highlights more information about this project, including a map showcasing the expansion plan.
For up-to-date traffic restrictions on both major projects and other construction throughout Regina, residents can visit the newly updated Road Report at Regina.ca/roads.
