Second Year of Construction on the 11th Avenue Revitalization Project Kicks Off Transit Stops are Temporarily Moving Off 11th Avenue
The City of Regina is building a more vibrant community through the revitalization of 11th Avenue. Moving into its second year of construction, this four-year construction project will upgrade the roads, sidewalks, lighting and aging underground infrastructure on 11th Avenue between Albert Street and Broad Street.
As part of the 2024 construction, all bus stops on 11th Avenue between Albert Street and Broad Street are temporarily moving to Victoria Avenue, Lorne Street, 12th Avenue and Albert Street. The temporary stops, which take effect on April 14, are divided between five locations. The details of these temporary stop locations are listed below. Stop A faces westbound and is located on 12th Avenue between Lorne Street and Smith Street. Temporary stops at this location include:
- 1 Broad North
- 4 Walsh Acres
- 10 Normanview
- 15 Heritage
- 60 Arcola East Express
Stop B heads northbound and is located on Lorne Street between 12th Avenue and Victoria Avenue. Temporary stops at this location include:
- 2 Argyle Park
- 3 Sherwood Estates
- 4 Hillsdale
- 7 Whitmore Park
- 8 Eastview
- 12 Mount Royal
- 50 Victoria East Express
Stop C goes westbound and is located on Victoria Avenue between Lorne Street and Scarth Street. Temporary stops at this location include:
- 1 Dieppe/Westerra/GTH
- 5 Uplands
- 8 Normandy Heights
- 9 Albert Park
- 10 RCMP
- 30 Rochdale Express
Stop D faces eastbound on 12th Avenue between McIntyre Street and Smith Street. Temporary stops at this location include:
- 2 Wood Meadows
- 3 University
- 7 Glencairn
- 9 Parkridge
- 12 Varsity Park
- 30 University
Stop E faces northbound on Albert Street at 12th Avenue. Temporary stops at this location include:
- 40 Albert North Express
- 24 Airport. Please note that this location will become a permanent stop, starting on May 5, 2024.

This transit move will accommodate construction on 11th Avenue. SaskPower and SaskTel will be leading most of the construction on 11th Avenue in 2024. They are helping build a more vibrant community by upgrading aging underground infrastructure along the street, between the alley west of Hamilton Street and the alley west of Lorne Street.
