Ride a Jingle Bus this Weekend for a Great Cause
Ride the Jingle Bus this weekend and show you care with your fare! Friday, December 15 to Sunday, December 17, Regina Transit and Paratransit will be donating all cash fares and extra coins directly to Chili for Children.
“This weekend, all city buses are Jingle buses. For the eighth year, transit riders can leave their R-cards at home and ride the bus for free this weekend,” said Kurtis Doney, Deputy City Manager of City Operations. “We are delighted to partner with the Chili for Children program this year.”
All fares collected throughout the weekend will be donated directly to Regina’s Chili for Children, a program that focuses on improving the lives of school-aged children by offering free, hot, nutritious lunches during school days, to help them learn well and grow up to be healthy, happy people. Transit riders can donate by putting cash into the farebox this weekend.
The Jingle bus is proudly supported by Brown Communications Group, Transdev the mobility company, Pattison Outdoor Advertising, Rawlco Radio, The City of Regina and Sleek Signs.
