The construction of the Dewdney Avenue Revitalization project will be completed in multiple phases over the next two years. Drivers should expect regular closures, lane restrictions and speed reductions along Dewdney Avenue between Albert Street and Broad Street. These restrictions ensure the safety of drivers, pedestrians and workers within the construction zone. Businesses along Dewdney Avenue will remain open throughout the construction season.
The first phase of construction is planned to begin the week of April 28th and includes lane restrictions between Albert Street and Broad Street. The City will advise of additional traffic restrictions as work progresses. Watch for signs, use caution and visit Regina.ca/roads for up-to-date traffic restrictions.
While construction will limit parking on Dewdney Avenue, drivers can still park along the north-south streets throughout the Warehouse District. The City will also be providing parking on the Yards site throughout construction. There will be access and crosswalks to this temporary parking site at both Scarth Street and Hamilton Street.
Starting April 28, transit routes along Dewdney Avenue will be temporarily redirected to 8th Avenue throughout the duration of construction. Please check TransitLive.com for up-to-date information.
