Progress Continues on the City’s Water Network Expansion
Starting on Tuesday, May 21, the City of Regina will continue to prepare for growth with the Argyle Street at Ring Road portion of The Water Network Expansion Project. This will see a closure of the Ring Road eastbound on-ramp at Argyle Street for about four weeks to both install the new water supply main and pave impacted roads. This closure will ensure the safety of drivers and workers in the construction zone.
The Water Network Expansion Project is a major project that enables the City to continue meeting the water pressure and storage needs of both current and future residents while also providing a long-term solution to support growth. This project will also contribute to Regina’s vibrant community by planting additional trees and upgrading the lights along portions of Ring Road.
