Major Events Contribute to Regina’s Tourism Landscape in 2025
In celebration of National Tourism Week (April 7 to 11, 2025), Tourism Regina and the Regina Hotel Association are excited to highlight a lineup of major events coming to the city. In 2025, Regina is set to host over 80 national and regional events, which will bring thousands of visitors and generate significant hotel room nights. These events will further elevate Regina’s reputation as a top destination while driving economic growth.
"Tourism is the heartbeat of our city, bringing visitors from across the country and beyond to experience the warm hospitality and vibrant culture that Regina has to offer,” said Mayor Chad Bachynski. “National Tourism Week is an opportunity to celebrate businesses, attractions and people who make our city a must-visit destination. We welcome travellers to explore Regina and discover the unique charm that makes our community so special."
Some upcoming national events include:
- Futsal Canadian Championship – April 10 to 13, 2025
- Skills Canada National Competition – May 29 to 30, 2025
- Canoe Kayak Sprint National Championships – August 26 to 30, 2025
- 60th Vanier Cup – November 22, 2025
Regina also hosts annual events including the Queen City Marathon (September 5 - 7, 2025) and Canadian Western Agribition (November 24 – 29, 2025).

Tourism plays a critical role in Regina’s economy, contributing to job creation and community engagement. Tourism Regina and the Regina Hotel Association continue to work closely with community partners to secure events in the city. Beyond 2025, Regina is set to host the ICF Dragon Boat Club Crew World Championship in 2026 and the Can-Am Police-Fire Games in 2028.
