City of Regina Winter/Spring Leisure Guide Now Available
Start the New Year off right with activities for the whole family. The City of Regina’s Winter/Spring Leisure Guide is available online now. Registration for City leisure and recreation programs starts at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12 for residents and Thursday, December 14 for non-residents.
Each season, the City offers hundreds of activities and classes for all ages and abilities, providing residents with an opportunity to explore something new. This winter and spring, new classes include “Illustration for Teens”: an art class at the Neil Balkwill Centre for youth aged 13 to 18 who are interested in learning more about illustration techniques. Fresh Air Fitness for ages 15 and up pairs an outdoor walk around the lake in Rochdale Park with an indoor gentle yoga stretch at the North West Leisure Centre. Many favourites like parent and tot activities, yoga for both kids and adults, and 3D printing will be returning.
The Adapted Recreation section of the Leisure Guide includes even more adapted classes for Winter/Spring 2024. Beginning on page 32, find new adapted art, sports, fitness and recreation programs.
Enjoy our Winter City this season by heading to one of 8 community fire pit locations, try a game of Crokicurl or visit an outdoor rink. See Regina.ca/winterfun for full details.
To ensure residents don’t miss out on their preferred classes, they are encouraged to create or sign into their online account at Regina Recreation Online before registration day. There’s a step-by-step guide to add preferred classes to a ‘wish list’. This will make checkout quick and easy on registration day. Registration can be completed online or by calling 306-777-PLAY (7529).
