Celebrate I Love Regina Day this Saturday
Mayor Sandra Masters, City Council and the City of Regina invite you to I Love Regina Day in Victoria Park on Saturday, August 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“There is so much to love about our city, and I Love Regina Day is a fantastic opportunity for us to come together to celebrate community,” said Regina Mayor Sandra Masters. "I look forward to joining our residents this Saturday for a fun-filled day in the heart of our city!"
The day’s festivities kick-off with the I Love Regina Run and Walk at 8:30 a.m., inviting participants of all ages to run, walk or wheel their way through 3K, 5K, or 10K accessible routes. The race concludes in Victoria Park, where the celebrations will be in full swing. It’s not too late to register for this family-friendly race.
All residents are encouraged to join in the fun and celebrate their community pride in beautiful Victoria Park. The I Love Regina Day event offers free, family-friendly activities like bouncy castles and face painting, live entertainment, and hands-on experiences with City services, including Regina Fire & Protective Services and Regina Transit. Enjoy a free barbeque, interactive exhibits from over 50 community organizations and a full day of fantastic performances from local talent including Terrance Littletent.
Since 2002, the I Love Regina program has been fostering a stronger sense of community and showcasing everything that makes Regina vibrant.
