Approval Process: 

• The City will contact the applicant by email to confirm receipt of the Request to Waive Bin Colour Requirements and ask any clarifying questions no later than 48 hours after the request is submitted.  
• The City will review the request to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.  
• The City will notify applicants if their request has been approved or denied no later than 10 business days after submission.  
• Request approval is at the discretion of the Director of Water, Waste & Environment.
