Douglas Armbruster

My name is Douglas Armbruster, and I’m running for Public School Board Trustee in  Subdivision 6.

As a husband, father, and community leader, I bring years of experience and a deep investment in education. I’m committed to advocating for all students, all staff, and all schools.

If elected, I will address key issues like class size, complexity, and violence by finding efficiencies and redirecting resources to where they are needed most—the classroom. This will allow us to increase supports like psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and counsellors, ensuring students get the help they need.

I will hold our Director of Education accountable for delivering real results in areas like literacy, numeracy, science/technology/engineering/arts/mathematics, social studies and physical education. By focusing on direct student support, we can build safer, more inclusive schools that foster success for every student.
