My name is Brandon-Shea Mutala, and I am running for Public School Board Trustee in Subdivision 6.
The reason I have put my name forward is because I am very concerned about the conflict that happened this year between the provincial government and the teachers.
Let me be clear: I agree with teachers that the most important issues in schools today are insufficient per-student funding, classroom size and complexity and increased violence. I believe that our government is failing our teachers and students by underfunding our education system.
If I am elected, my goal is to help reduce classroom sizes and get teachers and students the supports and help they so desperately need.
Putting children first is my number one priority, and on November 13th, I am counting on your vote so that I can help make schools a great place to learn and work.
