Sarah Cummings Truszkowski

I live in Subdivision 5 with my partner Rob and three children. Our kids attend École Connaught Community School, Campbell Collegiate, and the University of Saskatchewan. Having children in Regina Public Schools gives me a personal connection to our education system, with the perspective both as a parent and community member.

Before having children, I was a high school visual art teacher, and now, along with being a Regina Public School Trustee, I teach art classes from my home studio. I also have three degrees including a Masters of Education, and I come from a family of educators. 

I am committed to engaging with the community, listening to concerns, and I will continue to advocate with our elected officials and community partners, so they understand the importance of inclusive, public education, what our schools need, and how important properly funded schools are for a healthy, diverse, growing community like Regina.
