As Trustee since 2022, I’ve worked closely with educators, families and School Community Councils. I’m honoured that so many of them are supporting my re-election effort.
My professional and personal experience has prepared me well for the job of Trustee. I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant and worked in finance and policy development, so I understand the financial challenges our division faces. I’ve worked in health promotion and taught future teachers at the U of R. I’ve managed high-performing teams and worked extensively with stakeholders; I know how to bring people together to get things done.
Growing up as a new Canadian in a low-income home, I attended seven different Regina elementary schools. I’ve experienced racism, poverty, and other challenges.
My kids attend Regina Public Schools. As Trustee, my priority is ensuring schools are safe, inclusive places that take care of all children, while supporting the wonderful people who educate them.
