My name is Glenn Douglas.
I am running for council in Ward 6.
I have 3 objectives.
The first is Fiscal Accountability. Regina needs to be run in the black. When debt is incurred there should also be a structured repayment plan that is followed. When the debt is paid, property taxes should go back down. This was done in the 80's with the Buffalo Water Treatment Plant very successfully.
The second is Transparency. I don't believe that residents of Regina should have to search for important information. It should be provided with easy access. People elect counsellors to supply all choices so they can make informed decisions.
The third is never to forget that I am a servant of my constituency. Your opinion will always guide me.
If I can help make Regina a more affordable and better place to live then I will have accomplished my goal.
