The Residential Spring Street Sweep Has Begun Download the Sweep&Plow app to get alerts to move your vehicle
The City of Regina has successfully finished the first phase of the spring sweep and the residential street sweep is now underway.
This second phase takes place between 4 a.m. and 10 p.m., Monday to Friday and cleans more than 1,000 kilometres of residential roads in neighbourhoods over a six-week period, weather permitting. Watch for bright orange signs located at main entrances of neighbourhoods telling when crews will be sweeping the area. Residents are encouraged to visit Regina.ca/sweep and download the Sweep&Plow App to find out when their street will be swept and sign up for reminders.
When crews are in your area, please move vehicles off the street to allow crews to clear the whole roadway. If possible, be neighbourly by offering to share your driveway on sweep day.
Street sweepers can create dusty conditions that reduce visibility. Residents should close windows and walk on alternative sidewalks. If you see dust and sweeping equipment, leave lots of room for the machinery, slow down and be safe.
