City Invites Feedback on Proposed Budget
The City of Regina is inviting residents to share their priorities when it comes to investing their municipal tax dollars.
Residents can offer feedback on the proposed 2025-2026 City Budget by participating in the City’s pre-budget survey, open from June 6 to 23, 2024, and available at Regina.ca/prebudget.
The survey encourages respondents to share their priorities and expectations, weigh in on the City’s financial direction, and offer feedback on how potential investments align with the City’s strategic priorities.
The City Budget allocates general operating funds, which support the more than 60 services that the City provides to residents, as well as resources for capital investments and projects across the City.
A summary of resident and stakeholder feedback will be provided to City Council when the proposed budget is released at the beginning of 2025, to further inform Council’s decision-making during budget deliberations.
The 2025/26 Budget is Regina’s second multi-year budget. The multi-year budgeting approach supports longer-term budget planning to strengthen City programs and advance the City’s strategic priorities: economic prosperity, community safety and well-being, environmental sustainability, operational excellence, and creating a vibrant community.
