2022 By-Election Official Results

A By-Election was held on October 25, 2022, to elect a new Trustee for Subdivision No. 2 of the Regina Public School Board Division No. 4.

The 2020-2024 City Council was elected on November 9, 2020, and sworn into office on November 23, 2020.

Disclosure of Election Contributions and Expenses is due by February 11, 2025.

*Councillor and Mayor Candidate Disclosure forms must be Commissioned. We do have Commissioners for Oaths at City Hall (2476 Victoria Ave), please bring your unsigned form and we will have someone come down to witness your signature and Commission your form.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to submit my Election Contributions and Expenses Form?
Yes! This is required by law to be submitted within 90 days of the election date.

I had no expenses or contributions; I have nothing to file.
If you have a $0 campaign, you still need to submit your reporting of your financials for your campaign in accordance with legislation. You will simply fill in the Disclosure Form linked above, place a $0 on the expenses line and sign the form indicating that you had no expenses and no contributions.

What about my $100 deposit?
Once we have received your completed paperwork, on or before the February 11 deadline, we will process the refund of your $100 deposit.

What if I do not submit my Financials before the deadline?
As this is legislated, there can be legal action taken against you for failure to comply with the legislation. You will also forfeit your $100 deposit.
