Councillor Ladon Mohl is sitting for his first term as a member of Regina City Council, representing the residents of Ward 10.
Biography
Landon Mohl was born and raised in Regina and believes in putting its residents first. He spent 11 years installing fire sprinkler systems and another three as a steamfitter and pipefitter. Since 2012, he has been the Southern Saskatchewan Commercial Business Agent for the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters. Since April 2021, he has been working as a Steamfitter and Pipefitter at various industrial job sites including Yara Belle Plaine, Co-op Refinery, Cameco Uranium Mine and Nutrien Rocanville Potash Mine.
He was elected by his peers to be Trustee of the Saskatchewan Piping Industry Pension Plan and Health & Welfare Trust Fund which covers more than 2,000 workers.
The Martin Collegiate grad acquired his Red Seal at Red Deer College as an Interprovincial Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Systems Installer. Landon previously held his Mutual Fund and Life Insurance License and helped people find investment strategies to reach their goals.
Family, faith and community are close to Landon’s heart. He has a grown daughter and 11- and 7-year-old boys he raises with his wife. He enjoys family time, skiing, hiking, golfing and Roughrider games. Landon volunteers as a baseball coach with the North Regina Little League, has managed a hockey team with Hockey Regina and officiated ski races for the Regina Alpine Ski Club.
