October 4 to 10 is Fire Prevention Week!
The theme for this year's Fire Prevention Week is “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower,” encouraging residents to keep fire safety in mind while charging lithium-ion batteries.
Join Regina Fire & Protective Services at our open houses to tour a fire station, meet firefighters and learn more about lithium-ion batteries and fire safety in your home. And don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Regina Food Bank!

Regina Fire & Protective Services consists of seven fire stations, an education and training centre and a fire headquarters building, which houses the Emergency Communications Centre. The various services are maintained by a fleet of 18 front-line apparatus that include pumper, rescue and ladder trucks.
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, City Council approved Regina Fire & Protective Services (RFPS) Fire Master Plan (FMP) as a blueprint for decision making and a guide to help position fire service for community and economic growth over the next 25 years. The Plan is a comprehensive document that prioritizes community safety, mitigation of risk, research on best practices from other municipalities, and input from key internal and external stakeholders.
