11th Avenue is now open and major construction for this project is complete.
Project Outcomes
- Rebuilt roads, installed new sidewalks and pedestrian ramps
- Replaced or upgraded aging underground infrastructure
- Replaced traffic signals and street lighting
- New landscaping that beautified the streetscape
- Replaced transit shelters with new, fully enclosed shelters with heating and lighting

Timeline
- This four-year construction project began in spring 2023 and concluded in fall 2026.
- Construction for 2026 resumed in April. This phase focused on completing work between Cornwall Street and Albert Street.
- 11th Avenue reopened on October 16, 2026, marking the completion of the 11th Avenue Revitalization Project.
