Donate a Gift or Memorial - Legacy Program

You can leave a lasting legacy of a loved one by donating a tree or bench in the City-owned park of your choice.

Your gift is a perfect way to:

• provide a quiet place for reflection
• beautify and enhance Regina’s parks
• commemorate a birthday, anniversary or special event

Prices listed are subject to change. All donations EXCEPT PLAQUES are tax deductible. Temporary receipts are issued at the time of purchase and official receipts are issued each December.

Tree donation

Several tree varieties are available for planting in approved tree groves or along approved paths and boulevards in City-owned parks.

If you make arrangements to donate your tree before February 28, the City of Regina will plant the tree in the spring; requests received from March 1 to June 30 will be planted in the fall.

Bench donation

Bench locations are selected on a case by case basis.  The donation for a Prestige or Courtyard Series bench in a local park includes a stainless steel plaque with 100 characters engraved message.
